TechExcel DevSuite plays an important tracking and supporting role in Keyfactor’s video games future.

Keyfactor, one of Germany largest independent full-service providers for the video games industry, was founded in 2004. This firm delivers a range of services along the entire product lifecycle during conception, production, communication, QA and promotion of video games for PC, console, handheld and mobile devices. The co-founder and head of production, Frank Fay first got to know DevTrack, part of DevSuite, while he was working as a producer of a video game in 2003. At that time, he was required to use DevTrack throughout the development by his publisher. His experience with DevTrack during this period made a lasting impression.

A few years later, Frank co-founded Keyfactor and in the midst of establishing its quality
assurance department, contacted TechExcel, and purchased DevSuite, a user-friendly
application for managing, tracking and reporting on projects of all sizes, which matched all the requirements.

The entire DevSuite setup programme only required 2 days to fully install into the server and database and 5 days of implementation service from TechExcel. Around 2 weeks later the users of the programme were able to start their first project, and they could pick up right where they left off. Just as Frank commented “DevSuite is so straight forward that all our engineers needed only a few hours and then they were able to use it. Some had previous experience and they felt at home immediately.”
