The DevSuite Hybrid Agile Model
DevSuite is designed as a hybrid agile ALM platform capable of managing agile and traditional projects using the same set of best practice principles.
The DevSuite agile model was developed based on SpecDD, a hybrid agile methodology created
by Dr. Tieren Zhou to support agile development with fully integrated requirements and quality management.
The DevSuite Hybrid Agile model can be summarized as
- Pure Agile is not sufficient for real world projects
- Requirements and Quality Management should be integrated with agile processes
- Agile and traditional projects can and should be managed with the same set of best practice principles
- Requirements constantly changes but can always be formally managed
- Quality teams should independently exist and be responsible for complete traceability
- QA floaters can be assigned to agile teams and help the agile teams to achieve higher quality without jeopardizing their commitment to finishing development sprints
