Overview
TechExcel DevSuite leverages intellectual assets with KnowledgeWise, communicating a clear product vision and tactical execution strategy by linking ideas and customer feedback, specifications, requirements, designs, prototypes, and other documents to specific areas of work during a development project. Documents are shared with all resources involved in the execution of the project allowing for an uncompromised vision to direct the path of any development project.
KnowledgeWise enables the easy and efficient collection and organization of informal ideas, gathered from a wide variety of sources. Some of these ideas will be discarded, many will be consolidated and improved, and others will be accepted as is, but this collection, organization, and refinement of knowledge is vital to the ultimate success of any development project.
All development projects begin with ideas. Ideas could include enhancement requests from customers, feature requests from Product Marketing, design improvements from the development team, or even new product ideas from any employee within your company. This collection of knowledge/ideas is the genesis of the final delivered product.
KnowledgeWise allows teams to easily build a knowledge base by adding any type of knowledge document. Published documents can then be associated with different areas of work so that internal teams and external customers can search the knowledge base for self-service content based on their access privileges. Existing knowledge base content can also be linked to other knowledge base management systems or by populating KnowledgeWise with third-party knowledge packs.

- Full integration with all TechExcel Suites: KnowledgeWise is the central repository for any document in a development project. Through its integration with DevSuite, knowledge documents can be accessed through DevPlan, DevTrack, and DevTest.
- KnowledgeWise auto-suggest: The optional Auto-Suggest module can automatically suggest relevant topics based on certain criteria. KnowledgeWise analyzes the keywords and field choices of an issue or email and presents the team member with relevant knowledge matches.
- Knowledge integration: Import pre-packaged knowledge packs from knowledge vendors such as KnowledgeBroker, Inc. or integrate with RightAnswers. Provide your service team with a broad range of professionally-written knowledge that is immediately accessible directly through TechExcel KnowledgeWise.
