The East Bay Business Times gives out its Fastest Growing Private Companies (FAST 50) award annually to 50 companies. This year, the list of 50 companies is made up of two separate rankings: one based on the percentage of revenue growth and the other based on the total revenue growth in dollars.

Qualifying businesses must be located in Alameda, Contra Costa or Solano counties; have been in business for at least three years; and have produced at least $200,000 in revenue since 2003. The Fast 50 winners were honored at a reception on Thursday, July 26, at Golden Gate Fields horse racing track, 1100 Eastshore Highway in Berkeley.
